James Carrigan James Joseph Carrigan, 82, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died of heart failure July 11 at his home. Born Sept. 9, 1926, he was a 1944 graduate of Annapolis High School. He served in the Navy during World War II. Jim was stationed at Norfolk, Va. working in the fleet postal service. After the Navy, he worked for various insurance companies until opening his own businesses, Carrigan & Associates and Severn Liquors. He was a lifetime member of Elks #622 and the Severn Post American Legion. His greatest joys were playing golf, traveling, watching the Orioles on television and spending time with his dog, Goldie, and family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, ...
