Glasgow's annual outdoor Shakespeare Festival sees three plays performed this year which share a common theme - the search for power and domination.

Shakespeare fans can wallow in the delights of The Taming of the Shrew, a new production of Macbeth - which marks Jennifer Dick's directorial debut at the event - and a "threehander" version of Richard III, directed by Gordon Barr, which will be performed in the magnificent setting of the Kibble Palace.
