Constance D. Barron, 77, of Horseshoe Pond Place, died unexpectedly May 26, 2009.

She was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Auburn, Maine, the oldest daughter of the late Joseph H. and Bertha (Amnotte) Dionne.

As a child and young adult, she was a member of St. Louis Parish in New Auburn, Maine. She attended Auburn schools, including St. Louis Parochial Elementary School. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1950.

As a young woman, she lived for a time in Milwaukee, Wis., where she enjoyed independence and the friendship of her younger sister, Jeri Coulter. While in Wisconsin, she worked as an administrative assistant for ALCOA Inc.
