The 38 game booths at the Saints Simon and Jude Festival in Scott
Township are perfectly aligned using computer-aided design software,
an electrical engineer and his crew of 10 make sure there is enough
electricity, and parking attendants use walkie talkies to assure
festival-goers a parking spot.
Upbeat music is evenly piped through a sound system, and
announcements are carefully planned to encourage attendance nightly.
Ss. Simon and Jude Church has its annual parish festival down to
a science, but Peggy Sembrat, festival chairperson, says the
emphasis on everyone having a good time makes it so successful.
