Nolan Burchett leaned his tiny, 2-year-old body into the Southern California Edison's miniature Sea Lab tank and laughed out loud with lab staffer Dulce Miranda of Lynwood when co-worker Cynthia Carmolinga of Long Beach placed a marine animal in his hands.

"Touch gently," softly warned Jessica Burchett, Nolan's mother and Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation's human resources manager.

Nolan's fascination with marine critters visiting the third annual Walk and Roll for Casa's Kids family affair in Pomona steadily escalated - until he saw 1-year-old Maggie Baribault.
