The NRV SuperBowl, in partnership with Virginia Amateur Sports, will be the host for the 2009 Coventry Commonwealth Games bowling events.

More than 300 bowlers will enter the SuperBowl this weekend with the hopes of winning a gold, silver or bronze medal. There will be competition in Boys, Adult Men, Senior Men, Girls, Adult Women and Senior Women divisions.

Friday will be Senior Day with more that 75 seniors (55 and older) from Virginia battling for honors that day. The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. The turnout for the senior divisions has doubled in 2009 and promises to be as competitive as any in the three-day competition.
