Assault, robbery

Two men robbed another man late Saturday night as he walked in the 6900 block of Ritchie Highway near the Glen Ridge Apartments, county police said.

Police were called to Baltimore Washington Medical Center at 3:13 a.m. Sunday for the report of the assault. The victim said he was walking on Ritchie Highway at 11:30 p.m. Saturday when two men approached him. One of the men held a knife and punched the victim. He then took the victim's money, police said.

The victim was cut on the hand during the scuffle.

Descriptions of the robbers were vague.
