BEAVERCREEK -- Buzz Aldrin captivated the world 40 years ago when he was part of the first moon landing mission.

On Friday, July 17, the 79-year-old Apollo 11 astronaut captured the attention of a crowd of several hundred at Books & Co as he swayed to the beat of his hip-hop single "Rocket Experience." Aldrin recorded the song with rapper Snoop Dogg.

Wearing a black T-shirt featuring the famous shot of himself standing on the moon with the lunar module reflected in his visor, Aldrin grooved to the recording highlighting his bold step into rapping.
