As a ratepayer in Hamilton for 15 years, I find not a year goes
by without articles in the paper regarding the issue of public
transport. In particular the local bus operation.
The bus numbers and routes are increased which in turn mean
fewer passengers per bus, then bus numbers are decreased which
decreases passenger numbers due to people having to wait for buses.
The public can be difficult to please.
My solution is a simple one and I have often wondered if there
has been a feasibility study done on the use of trams.
We have the perfect road network and the width of road ...
