PRODUCTION is set to resume within weeks at a Hull caravan firm -
with ex-employees being encouraged to apply for new jobs.
The former management of Cosalt Holiday Homes has purchased the
assets of the business, which has a site in Stockholm Road, Sutton
Fields, for an undisclosed fee.
Operations are now expected to soon begin again at the plant,
although the focus will no longer be on caravans.
The firm will concentrate on the growing demand within the
holiday lodges and homes sectors.
A three-strong team led by former sales director James Garland
has bought the intellectual property rights, goodwill and plant and
machinery as well as taking a five-year lease on the Stockholm Road
factory.
