Article: Butler trustee cited again Police ticket Thew in domestic dispute after prior fine

Butler -- Village Trustee Michael Thew, convicted in March of disorderly conduct for a neighborhood conflict, has been ticketed in another incident alleging he threw a book during a quarrel with his fiancee.

Thew, 48, said the argument "in the privacy of our own house" didn't warrant a citation, and he will ask a judge to dismiss it.

"This is just a stupid little argument that got loud and a child got scared," Thew said.

Village police issued non-criminal disorderly conduct tickets against Thew and Aleen Katz-Dais, 49, as the result of a June 4 incident at Katz-Dais' home on N. 126th St., according to police reports obtained Monday. Both pleaded not guilty to the tickets and asked for a ...
