Article: A Branford ramble: Todd Lyon takes a journey around town

So there I was, tooling through pretty little Branford heading vaguely toward a body of water, for no good reason other than it was an insanely beautiful day and clams had crossed my mind, when I happened to drive over the railroad tracks, avoid a few wayward bicyclists, and miss the entrance to Nellie Green's, where in a flash I had decided I was going. Rounding the corner and cursing gently under my breath, I suddenly saw a sign. A religious epiphany, you ask? Perhaps. Definitely the answer to a prayer, and yet also an actual sign: The Lobster Shack.

Thus began my three-day Branford ramble, in which I hit five eateries, and waved at a sixth.
