County fairs are the quintessential, time-honored events of
summer. Just think of the scene in "The Notebook," when Noah hangs
from the side of Allie's Ferris wheel seat, refusing to climb down
until she agrees to go out with him. You might not experience any
picture-perfect romance on the fairgrounds, but a day spent
exploring the county fair is still anything but lackluster --
picture the bright carnival lights, the swooshing of the roller
coasters along the tracks, and the scent of delicious buttery
popcorn.
Whether it be winning a giant stuffed gorilla, petting a goat,
screaming aboard a thrilling ride or consuming more sugary treats
(cotton candy, funnel cake, fudge, sno cones, ...
