Sgt. Ryan Bonham has made a career out of doing what he loves: jumping out of planes.

Bonham, 24, has made about 800 jumps since he first tried skydiving six years ago. On Saturday, an American flag hung from his parachute and the national anthem played as Bonham, of the U.S. Army parachute team, the Golden Knights, opened the Visit Milwaukee Air & Water Show.

"We are just thankful to have a job where we can interact with the public and represent those serving in the Army," said Bonham, who was selected for the Golden Knights in September. Before that, he worked on Apache helicopters and served for 15 months in Iraq.
