LANSING, Mich., July 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor
Jennifer M. Granholm together with Michigan State Housing
Development Authority (MSHDA) Executive Director Keith Molin has
announced over $10 million in grants to 34 cities, counties, and
nonprofit organizations to help minimize vacant, abandoned and
blighted property left behind in neighborhoods as a result of the
foreclosure crisis. The funding is provided through the federal
Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) as part of the competitive
grant process.
