A hair-raising schooling session was enough for Rachel Frost to
draw the line at riding jumpers.
But it didn't stop her wanting to train them.
Frost, 31, recorded her biggest win in the sport when she saddled
Spirit Of Alaton to win the $33,500 Dunstan Feeds Waikato Hurdle
(3200m) at Te Rapa on Saturday.
Afterwards, the former stakeswinning jockey admitted she relied
on others to fit Spirit Of Alaton over fences.
'I schooled him one day over pony logs and he went so fast it
scared the crap out of me and I came home and said I'm never doing
that again,'' Frost said.
