Hassan Daneshmand has had his eye on Main Street for six years.
Daneshmand, owner of Italian Express in downtown Oklahoma City,
opened his restaurant in the First National Center in 2004 after
scouting several locations and realizing that the spot he wanted
most might not be vacant for some time.
Three restaurants have closed in that Main Street space since
Italian Express opened. When Carl's Jr. cleared out a few months
ago, and with his lease coming due, Daneshmand approached the owners
of the Main Street Parking Garage about moving his restaurant into
that space.
Daneshmand was concerned that Carl's Jr. and a cafe that had a
