An auction has been scheduled for 31 more properties owned by
Dale Thompson Builders Inc., as creditors continue to divvy up the
overextended and debt-ridden Howard County residential developer's
assets.
Thompson's company defaulted on the PNC Bank loan it used to
finance Hopkins Choice, a subdivision located at the corner of Ryon
Drive and Patterson Farm Court in Glenelg. The site has been
subdivided and graded, with some infrastructure improvements, but no
houses have been built.
In April, two other lenders foreclosed on 35 of Thompson's
properties at Scot's Glen, a townhouse development in Columbia.
