Casper the Friendly Ghost has nothing on Tasha the Friendly
Monster.
Tasha -- a one-bowl chocolate cake with purple monster frosting -
- won first prize in the Wisconsin State Fair culinary competition
Wednesday for her creator, 7-year-old Carmen Wagie of Richfield.
It's hard to decide which of Tasha's 11 sugary features is the
best.
But most kids would happily gobble any of them, including purple
swirl lollipop ears with yellow jujube earrings, rainbow Nerds
freckles, green Chiclet teeth and red licorice hair.
"We went to the Dollar Store and found candy we thought would be
good," Carmen explained after her cake won the blue ribbon and a
$9.99 premium in the Friendly Monster Decorated Cake ...
