AGENCY, Mo. -- Leeta George Brooks, 87, of Agency passed away
Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at a health care center in Gower, Mo.
She was born May 28, 1922, in Rushville, Mo., daughter of Hallie
and Charles Starmer.
She graduated from Rushville High School.
She married James Donald Brooks in 1942.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist
Church, RSVP Club, Day Lillies Ladies Group, and volunteered at
Hosea Elementary School and Mid-Buchanan Elementary school for many
years.
Leeta was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son,
Gregory Brooks; and a brother, James Starmer. Survivors include two
daughters: Donna Bennett and husband, Don, of St. Joseph; and Linda ...
