109 killed in traffic accidents in Yangon in six months

YANGON, July 29 (Xinhua) -- A total of 109 people have been killed and 861 others injured in 469 car accidents in Myanmar's Yangon division during the first six months of this year, according to the traffic police authorities Monday.

In the same period of 2008, 77 died and 628 were injured in 329 such cases.
