British Justice Committee warns against rushed constitutional reform

LONDON, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The British government's attempts at constitutional reform risk further undermining the public confidence they seek to restore, according to a Justice Committee report released Wednesday.

The report said the recent Parliamentary Standard Bill "should serve as a warning about the danger of undertaking reform too quickly, and without adequate consultation to enable a full and thorough investigation of the constitutional implications."
