A free "Jazz Day in the Park" on Sept. 13 will feature a full lineup of music and an announcement of the Pittsburgh Jazz Society's annual scholarship winner.

The scholarship, co-sponsored by the Bank of New York Mellon, this year will go to Upper St. Clair's Ben Benack III, a trumpeter headed to the Manhattan School of Music.
