Margaret Harnish Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Harnish, 88, a resident
of Eastport for 51 years, died July 26 at Baywoods of Annapolis. She
was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Billesholm, Sweden, to the late Lars and
Elsa Martenson of Mill City, Pa. She worked for and retired from the
Anne Arundel County Board of Education as a media specialist. She
became a naturalized citizen, worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" during
WWII in Baltimore where she met her husband, raised a family of five
children and was a loving grandmother. She was a member of St.
Anne's Episcopal Church, and enjoyed gardening, travel, painting and
knitting. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years,
