Marshall event
Marshall fans will get to meet Mike Hamrick, the school's new
athletic director, at the 12th annual "Paint the Capital City Green"
event on Aug. 19.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. at Charleston's Embassy Suites Hotel
with a pep rally and tailgate spread. Marco, the school mascot; the
cheerleading squad; and members of the Marching Thunder Band will
provide entertainment.
Hamrick will share the stage with Marshall President Stephen
Kopp, Coach Mark Snyder and members of the football team.
Tickets are $40 per person and will not be sold at the door. They
must be purchased by Aug. 17.
Proceeds benefit the Big Green Scholarship Foundation and the
Marshall University Alumni ...
