Article: It's time we actually read the United States Constitution

We are constantly hearing complaints about the government not
doing enough to ensure adequate health care; not doing enough to
help farmers; not doing enough to help the poor; not doing enough";
not doing enough " ad infinitum nauseam!
It is true that these are serious problems and need to be
addressed at some level, but I would submit that it is not the
federal government's job to do any of those things. If you carefully
read the United States Constitution, it is illegal for the
government to address those issues. That's right, illegal.
The U.S. Constitution is a brilliant document, and it is
brilliant because the men who crafted it were scared - scared of
governmental authority. Or, to be ...
