Baker Energy de Venezuela, C.A., a unit of Michael Baker Corp.,
announced that it has been awarded a dual certification for
implementing and maintaining a quality management system that
fulfills the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
According to company officials, the ISO certification was granted
by two certifying organizations, IQNet and FONDONORMA, (the
Venezuela Fund of Standardization and Quality Certification) and
encompasses process engineering services for the petroleum, energy
and industrial sectors. Jose Rafael Diaz Croquer, BEVCA president,
accepted the certificate from Fabian Ugas, certification manager of
FONDONORMA, at a ceremony in Caracas on July 10.
