Article: Perkins Street residents feeling ignored by city?

NEW HAVEN -- Perkins Street residents who say thay are fed up with the conditions of the road and sidewalks there have petitioned City Hall after what they claim has been years of attempting to get attention from their alderwoman on the issue.

"We're trying to get the streets and sidewalks done," said Carl Forlano of 28 Perkins St., who, along with his daughter, Jennifer, has circulated a petition. "Everyone in our area is getting their streets done. ... We seem to be forgotten, more or less."
