A proposal to seek a state grant of as much as $500,000 for Point
Park University's plan to develop a $7.5 million green urban park at
the southeast corner of Wood Street and the Boulevard of Allies,
Downtown, was approved by the Pittsburgh Urban Redevelopment
Authority.
A Summer Home Show will be held each weekend in August to market
the final phase of Jefferson Estates in Jefferson Hills, offering 25
carriage homes priced from $199,000. Three model homes, built by
Gill Hall Land Co., a Frank Zokaites company, are open, said Rindy
Bliss of Coldwell Banker Real Estate. There are 50 homes built and
occupied, along with a swimming pool and community center.
