ORRVILLE -- The weather was iffy, but the fun was a certainty.
Children and their families showed up in ample supply on Saturday
for a day of activities in Orrville.
Touch-A-Truck was part of the city's weekend activities. Anyone
unsure of the location could have followed the cacophony of sirens
and horns to JLG Industries on East Chestnut Street.
"They love the air horn," said truck owner Craig Moses,
monitoring children clamoring aboard a D+S Distribution Inc.
freightliner.
"(A truck) about as big as they make them," was the way driver
Wayne Miller described the vehicle.
A crowd favorite was the Armstrong Cable Services truck lift,
capable of reaching 45 feet ...
