Article: Sussex screams for ice cream

It should have been named, "I scream for ice cream," but whatever you call it, the 16th annual Friends of Pauline Haass Library Ice Cream Social Aug. 6 was a success. The annual event is a thank you to the neighboring communities of Sussex and Lisbon for maintaining such a fine library to serve residents. Proof of the event's continuing success can be based on the fact that in 2006, 1,800 dishes of ice cream were served at the downtown Sussex Library grounds. It jumped to 2,000 in 2007 and to 2,300 last year.
