Article: Star cast makes an autumn splash in the new season ; New drama sits alongside spectacular musicals, old favourites and new stage adaptations in the Theatre Royal Bath's new autumn and winter season which opens next month. Christopher Hansford reports on the treats to come

Art, murder, Jane Austen and early opera are all to be found in the new season at the Theatre Royal Bath.

And among the stars who will be making their way to Bath to star will be Felicity Kendal, Craig Chalmers, Susan Hampshire, Penelope Keith and Neil Morrissey.

The new season opens towards the end of August after the Peter Hall Season closes with Rain Man, a stage adaptation of the much- loved film which starred Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.
