The former Mountain View Inn in Unity was sold Wednesday in a
deal worth more than $2.5 million to two developers from Pittsburgh
who have not decided the future of the historic inn, which has been
closed since January.
"We haven't really decided what we are going to do with the
property. We will make a decision as quickly as we can evaluate it,"
said James R. Snyder of Upper St. Clair, who joined with his
brother, Daniel R. Snyder, in closing on the purchase of the 14-
acre property from First Commonwealth Bank of Indiana.
The deal includes the 85-year-old inn and a house on the
property, which abuts Route 30, east of Greensburg.
