galleries open for free refreshments throughout the building, live
music and plenty of working artists who are eager to talk about
their creations. Thursday night, Target Gallery holds a reception
for "In the Flesh II," a collection of 27 figurative works drawn
from more than 800 entries. Andrea Pollen, the founder of
Washington's Curator's Gallery, who served as the juror for this
show, will discuss her selections at 7 p.m. At the Art League
Gallery, join a reception for "Scapes," the gallery's annual exhibit
of landscapes painted by members. Awards for the best entries will
be handed out at 7.
