Throughout his career as an educator, administrator and community
organizer, Neil Hamilton used his organizational and social skills
to improve the lives of others.
The students in the Norwin School District knew Mr. Hamilton as a
grade-school principal who made them feel like they were the most
important person in the world as he impressed upon them the
importance of education, said his sister, Marcia Christ of Jefferson
Hills, a retired teacher.
"My brother set an example for his pupils by earning a master's
degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh during the
years he was with the school district," she said.
