Not exactly setting the world on fire, but after nearly two months, the Milwaukee Brewers finally could say they had a winning streak.

"It's been awhile, no doubt about that," said infielder Craig Counsell, whose memory couldn't reach far enough back to recall the Brewers' last three-game streak from June 15-17 in Cleveland.

"We can call it a winning streak, finally. We haven't had one in awhile. You can call three games a winning streak."
