might want to consider L.L. Bean's new "Lumbar Pack." It's a large-
volume backpack in weatherproof, Mossy Oak Break-Up fabric. It
features a double-padded, curved hip belt and yoke-style shoulder
harness to transfer weight evenly between the hips and shoulders. A
lightweight stabilizer rod helps lift the load and tilt the pack
towards your body for more control, too. The harness has built-in
binocular attachments and an optional back accessory pouch. Pockets
on the belt keep frequently-used items, two-way radios and
