Cranberry-based Lutheran SeniorLife's $5 million Alzheimer
Assisted Living facility is under construction in Mars, Butler
County. The 30-room facility is expected to open late in 2010. It is
on the campus of the St. John Specialty Care Center. Lutheran
SeniorLife has purchased the 31-unit Commons at Stonebrook Village
apartment building in McCandless for $2.5 million from Donald Pohl
of Village Land Co. LLC. In Beaver County, it acquired a six-
bedroom house in Brighton Township for $312,000 for six Medicaid and
nursing home-eligible residents, said Mark O'Donnell, director of
system development and communications.
