Playing at Fenway Park has become old hat for Jeff Natale. It's
just that Natale has yet to wear the hat he'd like to be sporting
while playing at the hallowed ballpark. Natale, a Hamden native, has
played at Fenway about a half-dozen times, from college all-star
games while a standout at Trinity College to the annual "Futures at
Fenway" game -- as a member of the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs and,
the past two years, the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox.
"It kind of puts a charge in you in the dog days of summer," said
Natale, who fouled out in his lone at-bat in this year's "Futures at
Fenway" game on Aug. 8. "It gets the adrenaline going in you a
