The parent company of The Patriot Ledger and The Enterprise has
teamed up with nearly 20 other community newspaper companies to
create a nationwide network that would gather and post newspaper
circulars on one centralized Web site.
The new site, Zip2Save.com, will go live on Oct. 1 and is modeled
after flyerland.ca, a Canadian site run by Metroland Media Group.
Metroland will be a joint partner in the Zip2Save.com venture with
LocalPoint Media, a national advertising network that includes
GateHouse Media - the parent of The Ledger and The Enterprise.
Nancy Lane, president of LocalPoint Media, said LocalPoint's
media partners were impressed with Metroland's success in Canada and
