Cash for Clunkers, what a joke

Can anyone answer me one question? If you are driving a clunker in the first place what makes you think you can afford a new car? I'm sure some of you who took advantage of spending my tax dollars on your new car can afford it with the rebate. I just can't see how anyone in their right mind would take advantage of a vehicle welfare program like this.

Those who can't afford these vehicles will be the next people asking for a "bailout." The government said it was OK, now I can't afford it. Are people too stupid to make their own financial decisions? Now your tax dollars and mine will be paying of the rest of the car because it will be the decision of some ...
