Appleton-based NEW Capital Fund said Thursday it has formed a new company that will use Kimberly-Clark Corp. patents and employees to expand applications for the consumer product giant's ultrasonic technology.

Aurizon Ultrasonics LLC is hiring eight research-oriented employees from Kimberly-Clark's Neenah office and is licensing a broad swath of intellectual property, said Charles Goff, general partner of the $10 million private equity fund.

"We're getting a treasure trove of talent and the intellectual property to go with it," Goff said.
