It's called the Little Great Race, but there's nothing small
about the impact the traditional event in Charleroi has on the
education of young people in the community.
"We're very pleased to help them continue their formal
educations," Vic Vitale, chairman of Little Great Race Inc. said in
reference to the Adam Boyd Memorial Scholarship that is awarded to
Charleroi Area High School seniors. "This is a very important aspect
of the race and we are grateful to the runners and walkers and our
sponsors for helping to make it possible."
The 23rd annual Little Great Race will be held Saturday, Sept. 12
beginning at 8:15 a.m. at Chamber Plaza.
