Some people might find the daily bus trip from Monessen to
downtown Pittsburgh a bit of a grind.
Not Antonietta Fiorillo.
The 80-minute, 28-mile journey via 88 Transit pales in comparison
to many of the treks she has made during a lifetime of adventures
that include, but are not limited to, escaping from Nazi Germany
military forces that invaded her village in Italy during World War
II and coming to America 52 years ago.
"It's not bad at all," Fiorillo, tailor-fitter at Macy's, said
with a knowing smile in describing the bus ride.
"Everyone (on the bus) knows each other, we're regulars, so we
always have something to talk about and the time goes by quickly."
