A Crofton teen recently parlayed her artistic talent into an all- expense-paid trip for three to New York City. Katherine Bobby, 16, winner of a Maryland flag design contest, enjoyed a weekend in the Big Apple in July with her mother, Sue Bobby, and Sharon Littig, her art teacher at South River High School. The trip was sponsored by Sargent Art, a Pennsylvania-based art and craft materials manufacturer.
