Article: Teen of the week: Severn School teen's success and talent no riddle

Longer than some of her contemporaries have been riding bikes without training wheels, Crownsville teen Katherine Riddle has been making herself comfortable on stage.

Over the past ten years, she has appeared in 20 musicals produced by nine different local companies.

She debuted as a munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz" and most recently was Liesl in "The Sound of Music," produced by Severn School's Water Street Players.

As a child, she was shy. But watching one performance on film magically transformed her.
