Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Elmer
Freiberger, 86, who died on Aug. 22, 2009.
Condolences go to the family and friends of Jim Buman, 72, who
passed away on Aug. 22.
A trailer load of donated clothes was taken to Rockford, on
Monday, Aug. 17. Only about a half a dozen people helped load up
the clothing at Nativity BVM Parish. An average of 300 bags are
taken each trip so more help loading would be appreciated. It all
goes to the Seton Center, Rockford, located in a very poor part of
town where the unemployment rate is 15 to 20 percent.
As an example of how poor the area is, there is also a soup
kitchen there that is open every fall. It is open Tuesday, Thursday
