Carl F. Breivogel
Carl F. Breivogel, 91, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday,
August 5, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
He served in the Army during WWII, during which he fought in
numerous battles, including the Battle of the Bulge, serving under
Gen. Patton. Carl was a machinist at Whirlpool for 41 years,
retiring in 1982. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic
Church, the Evansville Athletic Club and the VFW 1114.
Carl is survived by daughter Debbie McConnell and husband, Ken,
of Chandler, Ind.; son Mark Breivogel of Evansville; son Gary
Breivogel and wife, Judy, of Newburgh; daughter Jerri Gipson and
husband, Robert, of Newburgh; grandchildren, Tracy McConnell, Amy
Ary, ...
