Article: More parking, new rules suggested for Northwest Pasadena

PASADENA - Residents and merchants in Northwest Pasadena who are tired of people openly flouting parking laws could soon get relief.

The city Thursday night presented a parking study for the North Lake Avenue district with recommendations on how to fix problems.

Merchants said any new rules need to be strictly enforced.

"In South Lake you know that if you leave your car to sit you're going to get a ticket," said Ron Carter, a local business owner and president of the North Lake Village Business Association. "Up here you see the same cars sitting on the street all day long."
