The man who tried to start a grassroots effort to save Midwest Airlines from a hostile corporate takeover in 2007 was sentenced Friday to two years' probation on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

Art Suarez-Eden, 50, of City of Oconomowoc, was also ordered not to have any contact with Midwest Airlines, including flying on any of its plans, during his probation.

Suarez-Eden was charged March 2, 2007, with disorderly conduct for leaving a cardboard box outside the Midwest corporate headquarters one day earlier. He had been repeatedly told by airline security not to come to the airline. Following a five-day trial, a jury found Suarez-Eden guilty of the misdemeanor ...
